Mega Man 11 is real and it’s coming out on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC in late 2018.
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Mega Man series, Capcom revealed Mega Man 11 during a live stream Monday, nearly eight years after Mega Man 10 came out.
Mega Man 11 takes the classic 2D platforming of Mega Man and adds a fresh coat of paint, giving the series an updated, sleeker look than it normally has while still staying true to the heart of the series with all the familiar jumping and shooting.
Mega Man debuted in December 1987 and revolutionized platforming in video games with its nonlinear structure and difficult but fair level designs.
The series also has some of the best music in all of video games. Judging by the trailer alone, Mega Man 11 doesn’t sound like it will disappoint.
